if tesco gets any bigger we will all be working for them. i have a 'skilled' job but wouldn't see working in tesco's a step down. i hate to see people's worth being measured by the job they do . my favourite checkout operator is a wee guy who has it all, knows everyone by name, makes u feel special, outrageous flirt with the ladies young and old, pal to the men, clown with the kids , and swears under his breath about the supervisors . his queue is always busy - is that not skilled!
