Old VW performs better than Schumi's Ferrari

The news that a Ferrari, once owned by Formula One ace Michael Schumacher, is up for auction on an Internet site, would get anyone racing to put in their bids. But apparently not. EBay was forced to withdraw the specially equipped Ferrari 550 Maranello from sale after it failed to get its asking price, with its highest bid of just £50,000. Officials at eBay say that the car, which is currently in Zurich, has been dropped because of the little interest it attracted.
