CCTV
Nobody wants it until it is needed.
You're driving along on the motorway in the UK and the
Police are clearing away burst tyres from trucks,
how do they know they are there?
Children are abducted, women raped, men beaten to death
and now the bombs in London. CCTV gives the Police a chance
they have never had and they need it and they can and do use
it to the good of the country.
Why haven't we got CCTV over here in Germany?

i thought everywhere had cctv - u are being filmed even when u take out money at the bank atm i don't mind i isn't something i think about.
that is the only place where we have cams watching over us in germany - apart from in or around the companies that have installed it themselfs
