Plane crash survivors 'just so glad to be alive'

THEY cheered and applauded as the plane was landing, relieved to be on the ground after flying in circles above the airport because of the rough weather. The Air France flight from Paris to Toronto had already had several scary moments, including an apparent power failure that plunged the cabin into darkness. But the cheers quickly faded as the jet thudded on to the wet runway, then skidded off the tarmac and burst into flames.
Incredibly, all 309 passengers and crew members survived the crash of Flight 358 at Toronto's Pearson International Airport yesterday afternoon. ...more
